Summer Lien

Summer Lien is a self-taught Taiwanese author-illustrator living in Germany. With a background in education and children’s libraries, she developed a lifelong love for stories and picture books. Many of her ideas emerge during long walks. Fascinated by the questions children ask about the world, she enjoys creating stories that blend imagination, humor, and emotional depth. Her debut picture book «The very, very long line» received several international awards and recognitions. Alongside books, she is also an active editorial illustrator.
