“El dia de ir y venir” | Alain Allard & Mariona Cabassa | Akiara, Spain | 40pp | 28 x 24 cm
For thousands of years, people were Nomads, following the rhythms of the Earth, the passage of the Sun and the dance of Time. They learned how to read the grasses and smell the coming of rain, travelled to all corners of the land, navigated rivers and slept in the hills. But then, they started to build houses and barely moved anymore. But one day per year, they go back to and honor their wandering roots, in a” Coming and Going Day”, a reminder and tribute to the constant changing way of things. Alain Allard, who lives in the UK, is a faculty trainer for 5Rhythms, who was created in the 70’s in New York by Gabrielle Roth, a dynamic movement practice that helps to liberate the body, strengthen creativity, connect to the cycles of life and spirituality.
