In the camp they brought us to, we can’t do anything without waiting in a queue. There are queues to eat, to wash our teeth, to go to the doctor… There are also queues to change the stamp that will say to which country they are sending us. But my dream is to be in a queue that will take us back home. A story about Syrian immigration, seen through the eyes of a child shut away in a refugee camp. Inspired by little Alan, the boy that was found drowned in a Turkish beach.
